Apple begins rolling out Siri AI with iPhone 18 and iOS 27

Apple started putting its rebuilt assistant — branded Siri AI — in users’ hands with the iPhone 18 series and iOS 27, Wired and Business Standard reported Thursday. The update adds personal-context awareness, on-screen understanding, a dedicated Siri app with conversation history, and deeper Apple Intelligence writing tools, initially in English on newer iPhones. Apple says the stack mixes its own models with Google Gemini technology while keeping workloads on-device or on Private Cloud Compute.
