Edouard’s remnants dissipating; Hardin roads still flooded

Remnants of Tropical Depression Edouard continued to dissipate over East Texas Thursday, per Thursday reporting. Hardin County roads remained flooded and power outages lingered; storm-total rainfall along the path reached about 22 inches. Hardin County had reported motorist and home rescues Wednesday; an assisted-living facility evacuated 21. Gov. Abbott’s disaster declaration for several East Texas counties remains in place.
