Houthi missiles and drones hit Saudi energy sites; 73 wounded as oil moves through $100

Iran-backed Houthis claimed ballistic missiles and drones against Aramco and energy sites in Abha, Najran, and Jazan, plus King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait. Saudi coalition spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki al-Malki said attacks hit Abha, Jazan, Najran, and Khamis Mushait and wounded 73 people, including women and children. The Saudi Energy Ministry reported fires at oil facilities and utilities and temporary suspensions of operations; Jazan hosts a roughly 400,000-barrel-per-day refinery. Overnight U.S.–Iran tanker strikes and Jordan-base claims pushed Brent through about $100.07 Wednesday, with WTI near $94.73, compounding Tuesday’s Saudi-site oil surge.
