Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi said a regional meeting set for Monday in Salalah between Gulf countries and Iran to discuss Strait of Hormuz shipping arrangements was postponed “in the interests of consensus.” Iranian officials said the delay followed a Saudi request; Oman’s state reporting said conditions for constructive dialogue were not in place. No new date was announced. Market desks cited the postponement alongside the Saudi East-West outage as a Monday driver of Brent’s jump toward $108.
