Pennsylvania man charged with receiving rifle and ammo for alleged ISIS attack plot

Federal prosecutors in the Western District of Pennsylvania charged Jonathan Hunter Kramer, 21, of Valencia in Butler County, on Tuesday with receiving a firearm and ammunition knowing or having reasonable cause to believe they would be used to commit a felony or federal crime of terrorism, including material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. According to the Justice Department, FBI agents approached Kramer this weekend as he returned to a Cranberry Township hotel with rifle magazines and ammunition, then seized a semiautomatic rifle, five magazines, about 190 rounds, knives, and other items under search warrants. The DOJ Office of Public Affairs release included statements from Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel; Kramer made an initial appearance Sept. 14, and prosecutors sought detention.
