Russia launches 453 drones overnight; Ukraine hits Tatarstan and Krasnodar oil sites

Ukraine’s Armed Forces said Russia launched 453 drones overnight into Sunday, with 409 neutralized and strikes reported at 13 locations, including damage in Stryi (Lviv region) near a residential building, school outbuilding, and railway area. Separately, Russian authorities said a Ukrainian drone attack killed two and injured 12 at an industrial facility in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan; Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence said it also struck the Slavyansk-ECO oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai. The Guardian’s Sunday briefing tallied nine killed and dozens wounded in Saturday strikes as Kyiv warns of a hard winter. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said a Zelenskyy–Putin meeting on the margins of the Miami G20 was “impossible,” insisting any meeting be in Moscow.
